Fees and funding

From September 2025, eligible working parents will be able to access 30 hours of funded early learning per week, from the age of nine months to when the child starts school. Parents/Carers will need to register with HMRC via www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to access funding.

If you are NOT eligible for 30 funded hours:

Parents of children aged 3-4 years can access 15 funded hours per week, subject to meeting criteria. The funding period commences at the start of the term following the child's 3rd birthday.  This funding is applied for by the preschool following verification and information provided by the parent/carer.

Parents of children aged 2 years may be entitled to 15 funded hours if they currently access other forms of support. To apply and check eligibility, please visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

If you are NOT eligible for any funded hours:

For those not eligible for funding, fees are set at £18.50 per child, per session.

Children staying for lunch, as agreed, will need to bring their own lunch.  We currently charge £5.50 per lunch stay to cover staffing.  Those accessing the 30 hours funding will be able to claim lunch as funded hours.

To cover the cost of the snacks we provide in sessions, we charge a fee of 30p per session. This fee will appear on your monthly invoice. Alternative arrangements for snacks may be agreed with the supervisor providing they are in line with our healthy eating policy.

Please note that session fees are reviewed and subject to change throughout the year.  Fees are invoiced and payable in advance as agreed.  We will not charge fees if we are closed but all fees are payable when we are open even if your child is absent.
